Report released: Understanding current activity and capacity in clean technology research, development, and innovation in Canada’s Offshore Oil and Gas Industry

This research compiled and thematically represented the R&D and innovation capacity of Canada’s offshore oil and gas industry as it relates to clean technology.

This research was presented as part of a joint event between econext, Noia, and the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers (CAPP), and pursued through an initiative announced in January, 2021.

A video presentation summarizing this project can be viewed above. This research compiled and thematically represented the R&D and innovation capacity of Canada’s offshore oil and gas industry as it relates to clean technology. This included an identification of areas of strength or emerging strength in the Atlantic region (e.g. by specific subject matter and/or collective capabilities) that could be leveraged to drive clean growth within the industry.
